The MarLand Pessary is a specialized vaginal pessary designed to provide enhanced support for pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and associated conditions. It has a unique shape, combining features of a ring pessary and a dish pessary, providing stronger support than a standard ring pessary while remaining relatively easy to insert and remove. It is made of medical-grade silicone, which is flexible, durable, and comfortable for long-term use.
Applications
The MarLand pessary is used in the management of:
1. Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) – Provides support for moderate to severe uterine prolapse, cystocele (bladder
prolapse), and rectocele (rectal prolapse).
2. Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) – Helps control urinary leakage by supporting the urethra.
3. Post-Surgical Support – Used to maintain pelvic support and prevent recurrence of prolapse after surgery.
4. Alternative to Surgery – Suitable for patients who cannot undergo surgical correction of prolapse due to age, health
conditions, or personal preference.
