Endometrial Suction Curette

An Endometrial Suction Curette is a type of device used to obtain a sample of body fluid from the lining of the uterine mucosa. It is available in 3.6mm and 3.0mm outer diameters and is intended for single patient use only. It is used in a variety of gynecologic surgeries, including:

1. Induced abortion
2. Dilation and curettage
3. Endometrial resection
4. Diagnosis of endometrial cancer

Endometrial Suction Curettes are used to remove mucosal samples from the uterus and the lining of the uterine mucosa by scraping or vacuuming.
These tissue samples are obtained for biopsy, precancerous screening, or for menstrual sampling.
