Surgical Uterine Sound

Surgical Uterine Sounds are used to measure the depth and position of the uterine cavity. It also helps in the placement of an intrauterine contracept as well as verifying the intrauterine position and length of the gynecological procedure.

The proximal part of the Surgical Uterine Sound is 3.5 mm in diameter, tapering to 2.5 mm in diameter in the distal part, and has a globular tip to reduce the risk of perforation. Extensible to accommodate changes in anatomy. It is a sterile, disposable device.

Surgical Uterine Sound can be used for a variety of purposes, including:

1. Pre-uterine examination
2. Examination before diagnosing endometrial abnormalities
3. Examination before insertion of the IUD
